About Skupie
We’re building the app we wished parents already had.
Our mission
To give every parent clear, trustworthy information to get through the school years — getting ready for school and getting through outbreaks — for their child’s and family’s health.
What we believe
- Parents decide. We inform; we don’t advocate for or against vaccination.
- Official sources. Health facts come from public health agencies, not opinion.
- Plain words. If it’s hard to read, it isn’t helping.
- Calm by design. Fewer, better alerts. Never daily.
- Every family. English and Spanish, with the same information in both.
A note from our founder

Every school year, parents face the same questions. Which shots does my child need? What does this form mean? Is that illness going around our school? The answers exist, but they are spread across federal websites, state rules and school letters, and they change from state to state.
I have spent years working on infectious disease preparedness with public health organizations. As a grandparent, I have also watched my own family try to sort all of this out. I built Skupie so every parent can find clear answers in one place, in plain English or Spanish, from official sources. I also lead the engineering behind the app, so the same care for accuracy runs from the code to every word you read.
We will never tell you what to do. We will tell you what the rules are and where each fact came from. We keep you informed. You decide.

Say it right
Skupie is said SKOO-pee — like “scoop” with an “ee.”
