What Skupie is

Skupie is a general wellness information app. It helps parents understand school health requirements, common childhood illnesses, vaccines and local outbreaks.

What Skupie is not

• Not medical advice. Skupie does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Always talk with your child’s health care provider about your child’s health.
• Not a medical device. Skupie is not software as a medical device and has not been reviewed by the FDA as one.
• Not for emergencies. If your child may be seriously ill, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
• Not a government service. Skupie is made by Skupie Inc, a privately held company. No government agency owns, funds or reviews it. Using Skupie is not the same as filing anything with your school or state.
• Not a medical record. Skupie does not read or store medical records. About your child, it stores only a grade level and a picture you choose.
• Not an advocate. Skupie does not take a position for or against vaccination.

The final word on school rules

We work hard to keep state requirements current, but your school and your state health department have the final say. If anything differs, follow what they tell you — and please let us know at hello@skupie.com.
